GR DIGITAL Creative Set for the GR DIGITAL Professional Grade High Resolution Compact Digital Camera

February, 23rd 2006 - RICOH EUROPE B.V. announced the launch of the „GR DIGITAL Creative Set“, including the GR DIGITAL, with its completely unprecedented depictive performance, combined with an exciting package of accessories (consisting of wide conversion lens GW-1, external viewfinder GV-1, hood and adapter GH-1, camera case and neck strap) designed to maximise the camera's already superb performance.

The GR DIGITAL, with its user-pleasing superior image quality, proudly continues in the path fi rst set by the popular, award-winning GR Series of 35 mm compact film cameras, offering in a digital format a wide range of features and depictive performance that will satisfy professional photographers.

All of these features are packed into its compact 25-mm thin body featuring a new GR Engine plus GR Lens. Its newly developed high resolution, high image quality GR Lens expresses natural tones and gradations, taking maximum advantage of the potential of its CCD with 8,130,000 effective pixels.

On top of this, the image processing system of its GR Engine lowers noise even further. This enables more natural photo composition in every photography situation, thereby meeting the development goals of extremely natural colour reproduction and outstanding resolution.
